Your Summit account and event data
Tech Summit is organised by KCL Tech. Registration takes place on Luma. The Tech Summit platform uses your registration to check eligibility, activate your event account and provide a separate entry QR.
Registration with Luma
Opening the registration window loads Luma's embedded event form. Your browser connects to Luma, which receives ordinary connection information and handles the details you submit through its form. You can also open registration directly on Luma using the link beside the form. Closing the registration window removes the embedded form from this page.
What the platform uses
Your registration email, name, registration status and ticket references are linked to your event account. The platform records activation, your session bookings and event/session attendance when these features are open. Supabase verifies email ownership using one-time sign-in codes. Luma provides registration eligibility. Existing authorised staff can sign in using their staff email and current event permissions.
Who can access it
You can access your own account and entry pass. Authorised organisers manage event records, and authorised check-in staff can retrieve the information needed to validate entry or session attendance. Your entry QR contains an opaque pass credential, not your name or email. Keep it private and replace it from your account if it is shared.
Separate choices stay separate
Employer profile sharing and other choices made on Luma are separate from operating your Summit account. This integration does not import CV links or use activation as permission for marketing. Registering for Tech Summit does not grant committee access.
Questions and corrections
For questions about your registration, account data, access or removal requests, contact the event hosts through the Tech Summit Luma page. An organiser will review the request, including any event records that need to be retained. Luma's registration service and Supabase's authentication service also process data as part of providing those services.
